  1. You covered a lot of good topics in this latest edition of PUYD. You asked the question why you can't get opponents to see the light. I think the reason is because the discussion has turned personal and giving ground amounts to admitting being wrong. That's become too unpalatable so the fight continues. Ironically, by not giving opponents an out, you've galvanized them to continue the battle meaning that the chance of the override passing on May 25th and June 8th is less (I still think it will pass but it's not a sure thing). In my view of blog posts and so forth, you've been the biggest perpetrator of the attacks (turning people to visionappraisal to check out opponents homes was a low for a seemingly intelligent person).

    Why don't you call a truce, apologize for letting this debate get out of hand and show that you appreciate the arguments the opponents put forward if only because they put on the table what some if not many residents may have been thinking. Their efforts in the end have allowed for all voters to become more informed.
